Eyelash Grass!
New Mexico's state grass, Blue Grama, is tough and adorable. The seed heads look like false eyelashes. The little spine that holds the seeds is a most amazing rubbery but silky smooth texture. Next time you pass by a clump of this desert beauty, make sure to run your finger along the spine, after asking for consent, of course.
